i think rather than being based on chinese robes, the first robe is a manchu robe (or mongol but it's less known). the red dots are specifically worn by mongolian noble ladies and the hornhair look is in its entirety mongol

I really love him but sometimes it's hard listening to his songs like Psychotic Kid's because I'm finding out now that Psychiatrists get a commission off of giving us diagnosis and handing out meds. I've gotten so many diagnosis and in reality I just need someone to talk to and not condemn me. That song is special to me because Dr think they know what's going on when they really don't and a lot of them are so rude. I've been in one mental hospital with a bunch of bully staff that would just talk badly about the staff and eventually they kicked me out and I had a dead phone and couldn't get home it was so traumatizing. But yes that song is special to me if you have been in the mental hospital you will understand that one very clearly.

Lately he's really been trying to push his style to a kind of post-civilization style with touches of youth, depression, cynism, irony, glitching, holyness, will for freedom... you can feel it a lot in his music from Amo to the Post-Human EP & last Dropdead collections. A lot of Padmé's outfits were actually designed by the concept artists, like Doug Chiang. I love what Biggar did with those designs, but it was a collaborative process not singled down to one person. Point of fact, I'd largely call her a costumer on Star Wars, rather than a designer, as almost all the designs weren't her own.

The white and black stripe shirt is paying homage to Kevin Dubrow Quiet Riot, early 80's making that shirt popular. Kevin wore the stripes many photo shoot , videos and live. Sorta of a Metal Health theme of the band.
